Emerson Straw was excited to sponsor and participate in this years SPC Titan Trot 5K on Saturday, February 9, 2019. The race began at 8:00 AM on the St. Petersburg College (SPC) Clearwater campus quad. Registration was $35 for individuals, $20 for SPC alumni and staff, $10 for SPC students, and $20 for the virtual run option. This community event was a great opportunity for community members to test their speed and athletic ability, while also supporting the hardworking, dedicated St. Petersburg College students in their pursuit of higher education.
Faculty Governance Organization (FGO) gathered Florida’s finest runners, joggers and walkers for the SPC Titan Trot 5K. This fun, family friendly race was not only located on the beautiful Clearwater Campus, but also supported a good cause by raising scholarship money for students.
